2017 TMSA Logistics Marketing & Sales Conference

Nearly 200 attendees came to the Omni Amelia Island Plantation Resort in Florida to learn and network with industry professionals.

30+ Educational Sessions helped strengthen results in marketing, sales, branding and communications throughout "The Buyer's Journey." Opening Keynote Marcus Sheridan (pictured below) provided insight on how to deal with the Digital Customer.

Shippers of Leading Brands shared their own buyer journey - from selecting their providers and partners all the way to becoming advocates for them. Panelists included: Jeff LeClair, Vice President of Manufacturing & Supply Chain, Basin Holdings; Brad Richardson, Director of Logistics and Warehouse Procurement, McCain Foods USA; Scott Lane, Chief Information Officer, Sea Best Corp.; Wendy Buckley, President & Founder, Specialty Transportation & Regulatory Services.

TMSA Compass Awards again recognized best practices by transportation and logistics companies. This year, 12 entries earned an excellence award and 27 earned an award of merit.

Special Sessions included Key Metrics in Sales and Marketing (specific to the industry) and a "Meet The Press" Panel Discussion with editors of major trade media. Panelists included: Joe Howard, Executive Editor, Transport Topics magazine; Mark Solomon, Chief Editor, DC Velocity magazine; Chris Brooks, Executive Editor, The Journal of Commerce; Lara Sowinski, Editorial Director, Food Logistics magazine and Supply & Demand Chain Executive magazine.

Professional Networks were built with other industry executives through a speed networking event, networking receptions, roundtable discussions, an integrated expo, and the 2017 Compass Awards Reception and Dinner.

The Comprehensive Expo comprised of nearly 50 exhibitors and sponsors that represent hundreds of marketing and sales-related products and services for attendees to find solutions and business partners.
