TMSA committees develop and manage many critical programs and initiatives that advance the organization's mission and success. These industry leaders are responsible for the tactical direction and activities that provide value to our members in the areas of education, communications, recognition, and membership development and engagement.

Getting involved is one of the best ways to enhance your membership experience!
Veteran and rookie TMSA members alike have leveraged their membership status to achieve more value from the association beyond just reading newsletters and attending conferences. Volunteers say participating gives them dynamic networking and learning opportunities by working side-by-side with other industry professionals. Serve on one of these Committees:

TMSA Education Committee. Help in planning and executing our many continuing education activity, such as the Annual Logistics Marketing & Sales Leadership Conference, regional workshops, and Webinars and other online learning opportunities. Time commitment is dependent upon your interests and role on the committee. > More

TMSA Recognition Committee. Assist with marketing programs that recognize the best of the best in transportation marketing, sales, and communications. Members are recognized annually with Compass Awards, the Marketing Executive of the Year Award, the Sales Executive of the Year Award, and the Volunteer of the Year Award. > More

TMSA Membership Committee. Examine ways to build value in the association and translate that into membership growth through promotion and recruitment. Word-of-mouth recruitment by this Committee, along with hosting Connections Events and volunteers involved in our VIP Ambassadors Program, are effective ways to grow the association. This Committee, supported by TMSA staff, utilizes new and traditional media to help practitioners stay on top of emerging trends  through relevant content, innovative communication. You can also promote various ways members can leverage membership to their advantage. > More

Sales Advisory Council. This group of leaders help to guide TMSA in ensuring its knowledge, connections, programs, products and services are relevant to the sales and business development discipline in transportation and logistics. > More
