Bio

Tony Botos is an authentic and proven leader, with over 18 years experience in warehouse & logistics operations.  After graduating from The Ohio State University in Marketing & Logistics Tony spent 15 years with Save A Lot food stores, a wholesale food distributor.  Primarily in warehouse operations roles, Tony worked in 5 distribution centers across the country.  After achieving his MBA from the University of Maryland, with a focus in finance & marketing, Tony led as a director of customer experience, with oversight of space planning, store decor and product development.  In his final role with Save A Lot food stores, as a supply chain executive, Tony oversaw a network of 14 distribution centers and 1400 team members to drive transformational change for the organization.

With a transition to ScottsMiracle-Gro in 2019, Tony initially oversaw 20 3PL distribution centers and the development of The Hawthorne Gardening distribution network through 2022.  Currently, Tony is the Director of Domestic Transportation for ScottsMiracle-Gro. with oversight of intermodal, truckload and less than truckload.  Tony is responsible for the overall performance, RFP and relations with commercial carriers.  Additionally, he oversees the organization's private fleet operations of 100+ drivers, while maintaining a high standard of safety and a world-class culture.
